The room was clean and traditionally furnished, complemented by essential amenities like an air conditioner and flat-screen TV. Sure, it lacked a grand view, but we didn't venture to Venice to stare at walls. Breakfast was well-priced, offering a decent buffet in a charming courtyard-a lovely way to kickstart our day. The restaurant experience elevated our stay; the meals-prepared with attention to fresh ingredients-were commendable. The friendliness of staff felt genuine, making it easy to overlook minor shortcomings in dining choices. A unique highlight was the owner's occasional serenade on the bass, creating a welcoming atmosphere. While it may not boast opulence, Locanda offered practical luxury without breaking the bank. For travelers, especially those budget-conscious like myself, this hotel serves as a fine home base to explore Venice without compromising comfort. A smart choice indeed amid the city's appealing chaos.
